Following the success of previous Summer Schools in Porto and Visiting Programs in Mexico, France, Sweden, Switzerland, and Spain, Porto Academy returns to its roots.
This year’s Summer School will take place from July 14th to 21st, 2026.
Porto is more than just the original venue; it is a premier architectural destination. Its historical legacy is profoundly relevant, defined by the presence of iconic buildings and world-renowned architects.
Porto Academy and ESAP (Escola Superior Artística do Porto) share a deep-seated passion for the discipline of architecture. This is reflected in the quality of our guest tutors - recognized in both education and practice - and our participants who are coming from a wide range of origins, fostering a truly international and multicultural learning environment.
Participants will be visiting buildings by Távora, Siza, Souto de Moura, Rem Koolhaas, among others. In addition, there will be workshop classes and lectures with:
Andrea Faraguna, Atelier da Costa, Balissat Kacani, Bear, Laura Cristea, Marc Leschelier, Nuno Melo Sousa, Takk, Baukunst, and Didier Fiuza Faustino.
Atelier da Costa, Laura Cristea and Nuno Melo Sousa, have been featured in our publications: AMAG PT 11, AMAG 29 and AMAG PT 07.
