AMAG PT 11 ATELIERDACOSTA
Anchored in the local territory and culture, in the relationship between memory and identity, and in the pursuit of a sensitive and rigorous architecture, the work of ATELIERDACOSTA promotes a collaborative and holistic approach between drawing and design, a poetically simple gesture towards the site, understood as a cultural and emotional landscape, continuously shaped and reconfigured by time and human action.
The result is a spatially balanced architecture, defined by formal clarity and a precision in construction details that, through a distilled approach, achieves excellence in the lightness of simplicity and restraint. Each project is a singular response, rooted in historical continuity and reimagined through a gaze and gesture that add value in any circumstance, regardless of whether the pre-existing natural conditions are favourable or often adverse, particularly significant or seemingly ordinary.
