Following the successful experience of the Summer School in Porto and the Visiting programs in Mexico, France, Sweden, Switzerland and Spain, Porto Academy is back in Porto to organize a Summer School that will take place from 14th to the 21st July 2026 .
Porto is not only the original venue but also an important architecture destination. Its historical legacy on the architecture scene is highly relevant due to the presence of iconic buildings and authors in the city.

 

Porto Academy and ESAP (Escola Superior Artística do Porto) share the common ground of interest and passion for the discipline of architecture. This is reflected by the quality of the different guest tutors who are recognized by their work in the field of education and practice. But also for the students or practitioners who are also coming from a wide range of origins turning this into an international and multicultural experience of learning.

Participants will be visiting buildings by Arquitectura G, Gunnar Asplund, Hans Asplund, Ivar Tengbom, Johannes Norlander, Johan Celsing, Norell Rodhe, OMA, Peter Celsing and Sigurd Lewerentz and will be able to attend lectures and have as guest tutors:

JOHANSEN SKOVSTED and ATELJÉ Ö, both published at AMAG 30, will be respectively guest lectures at Linnaeus University – Vaxjko, Monday 20th of June, and Tuesday 21th of June.
